The DJR189Z delivers 0-3,100 strokes per minute combined with a 7/8 stroke length. It offers a low-vibration design that reduces operator fatigue. The loop-shaped handle offers rigidity for improved cutting efficiency. It can perform Up to 90 cuts in 2x10 lumber, and up to 50 cuts in 1" schedule 80 steel pipe with a 5.0Ah battery. Features a tool-less blade changing system to minimize downtime between blade changes. Its part of Makita's expanding 18V LXT System, the worlds largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries.
